McBirney House is a secluded tropical island retreat on beautiful One Foot Island – a remote, uninhabited offshore island in Aitutaki’s beautiful lagoon.

Set in one of Aitutaki’s most picturesque locations, One Foot Island Hideaway or McBirney House is a two story cabin complete with shower/toilet, basic self catering facilities and a spacious deck.

The cabin can take up to 4 adults. Directly overlooking the lagoon, the property is set amongst palm trees, unspoilt white sand beaches with an exceptional view to the lagoons offshore islands or motus.

No one lives permanently on One Foot Island. Apart from local fishermen who sometimes visit the island at night, there will not be any one else around after the last lagoon cruise operator leaves for the mainland. Be prepared for complete isolation and utter relaxation.
